Common questions
You name a trusted person when you sign up. If you stop checking in for your chosen time period (30, 60, or 90 days), we send a series of warning emails — and a final 14-day window to cancel. Only after that does the person you named receive an invite. They can never access your videos early.
You can pause your check-in timer before deployment and set a return date. We’ll also send a simple one-click check-in email — no password needed — so you can stay active even in the field. Nothing happens to your account while the timer is paused.
Your videos go to the adult guardian you designate — a spouse, sibling, or trusted friend. They decide when and how to watch with your children. There’s no separate login for kids.
You can mark any video as “legacy only” — it stays hidden from people watching your timeline today, but is included when your videos are handed over. It’s clearly labeled so you always know what you recorded.
Yes. Videos are encrypted at rest and only visible to people you choose. We never watch them. The one exception: if a viewer reports a video as a safety concern, a human admin may review it — and that review is logged in our audit trail. This is disclosed in our privacy policy.
We give you a generous grace period — your videos are never deleted the moment a payment lapses. If you need to leave, you can download everything first. We’ll always make sure you have time to do that.
