Open the site on your phone, tablet, or computer and press the big red button. Talk about your day, how much you love them, things you want them to know some day. You can record up to 3 videos a day — up to 5 minutes each on the Starter and Standard plans, or up to 10 minutes each on Premium — in up to full-HD quality.

Not comfortable on camera? Switch to audio-only mode. It records just your voice — great for when you’re in the field, travelling, or simply prefer to speak rather than be seen.

Keep safe

After recording, watch it back. Trim a slow start or awkward ending with two simple handles — no timeline editor, no complexity. Then save it to your private timeline.

Every video is encrypted and only visible to people you choose. Not even our team can watch them — we see file sizes and dates, nothing more. The one exception: if a viewer reports a video as a safety concern, a human reviews it and that review is logged. We disclose this in our privacy policy.

Choose who can watch your videos today — a parent, a sibling, a friend. They get a simple viewing account and you decide whether to notify them each time you save something new.

You also name a trusted person to receive everything if something ever happens to you. They get access automatically after your check-in timer runs out and a 14-day final window passes — never earlier. The person you name can never access your videos before that point.

Your safety net

The check-in — how it actually works

This is the part most people ask about. Here’s exactly what happens, step by step.

You choose a timer — 30, 60, or 90 days. Most people choose 60.
We email you regularly — a simple email with one button. Clicking it resets your timer. No login needed. This keeps your account active even when you’re busy or overseas.
If your timer runs out, we send a series of warning emails before anything happens. Clicking any of them cancels the process immediately.
A 14-day final window — one last email. You have 14 days to click and stop the handover. Only after this window closes does your trusted person receive an invitation.
Handover — your trusted person gets an email, creates their own account, and receives 180 days of free access to watch and download everything.

A family member can submit a death certificate to speed up a handover. An admin reviews and approves it before anything is transferred.

What “deployment pause” actually means

Before you leave, set a return date in your legacy settings. Your check-in timer freezes until that date — we won’t send warning emails, and nothing will happen to your account while you’re overseas. Your videos stay safe, and your family won’t receive anything while you’re alive and deployed.
