Your family’s videos are safe. Nothing will happen to your account.
We also send you a monthly email with a single button — clicking it counts as a check-in without logging in. Handy if you’re in the field.
How long should we wait?
If we don’t hear from you for this long, we’ll begin the warning process before passing your videos on.
Deployment pause
Heading overseas? Freeze your check-in timer until you’re back. Nothing will happen to your account while it’s paused.
Service member? Free while deployed, 20% off when home.
Verified U.S. service members pay nothing while on deployment and get 20% off either plan when they’re home. Verification takes about two minutes through ID.me and only needs to be done once.
How the handover works
This only ever happens if you genuinely stop checking in. There are multiple steps, and you can stop it at any point.

Your timer runs out
After your chosen time (30, 60, or 90 days) with no check-in, we begin the process.

Warning emails
We send a series of emails to remind you — clicking any of them cancels everything immediately.

A 14-day final window
One last email gives you 14 days to cancel. Only after this window closes does anything happen.

Your trusted person receives everything
They get an invite email, create their own account, and get 180 days of free access to watch and download your videos.
Download everything
Your videos are yours. Download them all as a bundle — every video, every audio entry, every date — so your story lives on even if this site ever changes.
